ADRIANNE DE CASTRO

Ms. De Castro joined Mower, Carreon & Desai. LLP in January, 2010.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. De Castro spent two years at the San Francisco law firm of Rudy, Exelrod, Zieff & Lowe, LLP litigating class action wage and hour cases and individual discrimination cases.  Her experience also includes two years litigating gender discrimination class actions with Equal Rights Advocates.

Ms. De Castro received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2002 where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa.  She then obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005.  In law school, she received the Prosser Prizes for courses in Sex-Based Discrimination, Community Law Practice at the East Bay Community Law Center, and Social Justice Writing.

She is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association and the California Employment Lawyers Association, where she serves as a member of the Diversity Committee.  Ms. De Castro is a member of the State Bar of California.
